Illinois Poison Center phone number: 800-222-1222 The Illinois Poison Center serves all of Illinois 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Staffed by nurses, physicians, pharmacists and other poison specialists, the IPC offers free, confidential poison prevention advice and treatment recommendations via a toll-free hot line. Day Care Information Line: 877-746-0829 Call the toll-free number to receive information on a provider's licensing status, capacity, and past six months history of DCFS licensing violations. Have the providers name and address available when you call. This line is provided by DCFS and has information only on license providers. Child Abuse Hotline: 800-252-2873 Call if you suspect or know of an incident of child abuse or neglect. Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) 618-993-7100 Licensing Offices: This number may be called if you suspect a licensing violation of someone caring for children, FCC home or center. In a disaster situation, simply dialing 2-1-1 is the quickest way to access non-emergency resources for your family, your neighbors and your employees.
