Grants and FundingQuality Improvement Funds (QI Funds) - Based on available funding, CCR&R offers funds to assist and support programs that are choosing to work toward/maintain an ExceleRate™ Illinois Circle of Quality. The three areas related to QI Funds are: ExceleRate™ Illinois Grant Cohort, ExceleRate™ Illinois Training Stipend and Accreditation Assistance. License Exempt Child Care (LECC) Grant - Quality Improvement grants are available to Child Care Assistance Program LECC providers to fund materials needed to address health and safety needs as determined by a self-assessment. Information including eligibility along with the Application and Guidelines can be found under FORMS. Individual Professional Development Funds (IPDF) - Based on available funding, CCR&R offers funds to assist individual pursuit of professional development in early care and education and school-age care. Funds may be able to provide reimbursement of up to 80% of costs. Information regarding eligibility along with the Application and Guidelines can be found under FORMS CPR/First Aid (FA) Reimbursement - Based on available funding, CCR&R offers funds to assist child care practitioners to achieve CPR/FA. Practitioners (must be ILGateways Members) can register to take CPR/FA at a local community college for free or can use the following application to request 100% reimbursement if scheduled independently.
